This past weekend my Minnesota family drove through the great state of North Dakota to come visit us here in Montana. In the group included my sister Dana and husband Greg along with nine week old Milo. Also Oma, my sisters Heather and Cydney and friend Rachel.

The girls shopped on Saturday while the boys went fishing on the Bighorn River with Tuff's Uncle Joe as a guide. According to Greg it was some of the best fishing he has experienced. Greg is general manager of Babe Winkelman Productions, good fishing and outdoor secrets, so that says a lot.

We were blessed beyond measure to have my family visit. I cried the next day out of joy for our time together and mourning for our distance. Love them so much.
Before my family was in town we went to the 96th annual Crow Fair, 'Teepee Capital of the World.' It is the first time Tuff has been to Crow Fair since his high school days. (photo below by James Woodcock of Billings Gazette)

Last Sunday through Tuesday Tuff was in Martin, South Dakota speaking to multiple groups. Our friend and colleague for One Heart, Rick Robinson, came along. He also negotiates many of Tuff's speaking engagements.

Tuff and Rick met up with Joe Donnell (founder and president of the Warriors Circle) and Bob Nickleson (regional president of First Interstate Bank) at the memorial to talk about ministry opportunities.
The woman in the picture below is Viega Ziolkowski, daughter of the original sculptor of Crazy Horse Memorial. She and other family members continue on their father's project.
Today Tuff charged up the Laurel flag football kids with a fun talk and some jerseys and helmets to look at. I was happy to travel along and snap some photos!
On the home front we have been watching a baby grow. Liza that is.
She turned one month old August 26th. Here is a picture from that day.

Speaking of Addeleigh, they came to see us again with Kassia's sister Maddie and Mom Bonnie. All dark brown eyed beauties and somehow Liza has blue eyes so far.
