As many of you may already know the NFLPA decertified today. What this means is that the NFLPA no longer represents the players in collective bargaining with the NFL. Any agreement with the NFL reached from this point forward will be through the court system, not a collective bargaining agreement. If the court grants the injunction, the lockout will end and the football season will be restored using a new system following the antitrust laws. The other option is a class action settlement of the antitrust case. This information comes directly from the players association. I am not completely sure what it all means but I might venture to say this whole process might take a while.
