On the 15th I celebrated my 27th birthday and threw myself a party at Cold Stone, which was amazing. They now sell Cold Stone Pies. They are delicious and one pie serves 15 people! I got my favorite flavor, cookie dough.

Our friends Maggie and Patrick got married on the 19th and we were blessed to attend. The wedding was beautiful, every detail thought through.
The next day we left for Marco Island, Florida for the NFLPA players reps meetings. Tuff is not a player rep but was there for assessments for a program he signed up for called 20/20, preparing players for life after the NFL. It turns out the people in charge of doing the assessments have a connection to Japan and had to leave, which left us with three enjoyable days in beautiful Marco Island.
We golfed two rounds while down there and the alligators were plentiful.
One of the golf days was a scramble with current and retired players. Our group was so great, including Corwin, who did our premarriage counseling.

The resort we stayed at was on the beach. The sand was pristine white and peppered with shells.
Although we did not see any manatee, the signs for boaters were everywhere.
The last day in South Florida we headed to the Naples Zoo. Below we are in a tour boat to see all the monkeys on their islands.
I forgot to announce in the last post that Jeri Lyn and Philip, Tuff's sister and brother in law had a baby March 4th, Kylee Isabella Beckman. She is beautiful!
Also Tuff spoke at the beginning of March to a woman's fellowship group I attend called SHE. He admits to being nervous, as he has never spoke to a room full of women, but did a wonderful job. The topic was relationships from a man's perspective.
