Little Miss or Little Mister?

This past Sunday we threw a gender reveal party for Harris baby II.  It was also paired with my 30th birthday celebration. Lets be honest though, the gender reveal was much more exciting.

Rewind a bit to Thursday.  Tuff was out of town in Kansas City for a doctor assessment for the NFL Line of Duty Disability Benefit.  His mom Melody met me in Crow Agency for my anatomical ultrasound.  All is on the up and up for Harris baby II.  The ultrasound tech kept the gender a secret, wrote it on a paper and sealed it in an envelope.

From Thursday to Sunday we managed not to look in the envelope!  Sunday morning I brought a large empty box to Party America.  The workers took the sealed envelope, filled the box with the appropriate color balloon and sealed the box.  I left for 15 minutes and returned to Party America, giddy as ever knowing that the box contained either blue or pink balloons.

Ok now for the party time!  It started with fun at a photo booth I constructed out of paper streamers.  It only took me two rolls, one teal and one red.

Next we celebrated with some Cold Stone ice cream cake for my 30th.

The kids had a great time and the weather was nice enough for outdoors and indoors.

A big thanks to my YMCA coworker Jason and his neighbor Annaleigh for taking the photos.

Then Kassia lead us in an old wives tale game.  Mustaches for Little Mr. answers and lips for Little Miss answers.

Next each of the guests placed their votes by either holding a mustache on a stick or lips on a stick.

Lastly on to the reveal.

On the Harris side this is granddaughter number nine.  Pretty impressive girl streak.

Grace is clueless as to what this all means.  Just happy to have a balloon.
